Veteran music-industry lawyers David Altschul and Milt Olin have paired to form L.A. law firm Altschul & Olin.

Altschul left his post as executive VP at Warner Bros. in 2001 and most recently served as negotiator with the RIAA in its discussions with the Recording Artists Coalition. Olin was most recently senior counsel at entertainment firm Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, which has nine North American offices, and previously served as a COO of Napster and a senior VP of business and legal affairs for A&M Records.

Olin tells Bulletin that the new firm, which opened for business Jan. 1, is working out of Altschul
