Norah Jones' new single has set a one-day sales record on Apple Computer's iTunes Music Store.

"Sunrise"--released to the digital service Jan. 13, the same day as its radio release--sold more than any other single in a 24-hour period in iTunes history, according to Apple and Blue Note Records. Specific sales figures were not disclosed.

The previous one-day record holder on iTunes was OutKast's "Hey Ya!" (Arista).

"Sunrise" debuts at No. 2 on this week's Hot Digital Tracks chart, with sales of 9,000, according to Nielsen SoundScan. "Hey Ya!" is No. 1, with 10,000.

"Sunrise" is the lead single from Jones' album "Feels Like Home," due Feb. 10 in the U.S.
