RED-distributed Dualtone Records will release "No Depression: What It Sounds Like (Vol. 1)," an anthology of tracks selected by the editors of the influential Americana magazine No Depression, on March 9.

The set, executive-produced by the publication's Grant Alden and Peter Blackstock, will include songs by Johnny Cash, Allison Moorer, Alejandro Escovedo, Doug Sahm, Buddy Miller, Robbie Fulks & Kelly Willis, Neko Case, Kasey Chambers and Whiskeytown.

It also features the Carter Family's "No Depression in Heaven," the vintage recording that inspired the magazine's name.
