BuyMusic.com, the digital music service from by Buy.com founder Scott Blum, has entered into a marketing alliance with South Beach Beverage Co., maker of SoBe drinks. The two will jointly promote a concert series this year.

Keith Allen, senior VP of business development for Buy Music parent BuyNetwork, says BuyMusic and SoBe will also partner on giveaways and prize promotions. Further details were not disclosed.

The deal is the latest in a growing number of promotional pacts between beverage companies and digital music services.

A Pepsi/iTunes alliance kicks off Sunday with a Super Bowl commercial. Meanwhile, joint marketing initiatives by Sprite/MusicMatch, Miller/Napster and Heineken/RealNetworks will launch later this year. In the U.K., Coca-Cola has started a download store powered by OD2.
