Pepsi says the ad for its download giveaway promotion with Apple Computer's iTunes -- set to debut at the Super Bowl this Sunday (Feb. 1) -- will feature 16 real-life teenagers who were sued by the recording industry for illegally distributing music through peer-to-peer networks.

The spot -- which is set to Green Day's version of the song "I Fought the Law" -- depicts the teens acquiring music from iTunes and drinking Pepsi.

Pepsi AdApple and Pepsi will give away 100 million free songs from iTunes on the bottle caps of select 20-ounce and 1-liter bottles of Pepsi, Diet Pepsi and Sierra Mist.

The promotion will run until March 31, 2004.
