Toronto-based independent label Linus Entertainment and New York-based spinART Records have announced a joint venture.

Toronto-based independent label Linus Entertainment and New York-based spinART Records have announced a joint venture. Material by Linus artists will be released in the U.S., with marketing and promotion handled by spinART, and distribution through Ryko. Linus will continue to be distributed in Canada by Warner Music Canada.

The initial releases under the agreement are Gordon Lightfoot's "Harmony," scheduled for simultaneous U.S. and Canadian release on May 11; Quartetto Gelato's "Quartetto Gelato Travels the Orient Express," which is being issued March 9 in Canada and May 25 in the U.S.; and By Divine Right's "Sweet Confusion," due in June in both countries.
