Ryan Adams has scratched his U.S. spring tour due to a wrist operation. He was scheduled to play mostly West Coast and southern theaters March 2-22.

Adams, who released the Lost Highway album "Rock N Roll" and EPs "Love is Hell Part 1" and "Love is Hell Part 2" this November, broke his wrist falling off the stage of his Jan. 22 Liverpool, England show. Although he hopped back to the microphone to finish the song "Shadowlands," the accident forced him to cancel the rest of that concert. His operation is set for Feb. 1, and physical therapy is planned to last through March.
