Sony Music International (SMI) has appointed Brian Celler to the newly created position of VP of artist development and marketing.

Sony Music International (SMI) has appointed Brian Celler to the newly created position of VP of artist development and marketing.

Celler, who will be based at SMI's European headquarters in London, reports to New York-based Tracy Nurse, SMI senior VP of marketing.

Celler joined Epic in the U.S. in November 1997 as senior director of international marketing. Most recently, he was VP/head of international marketing for Epic Records Group, working with such acts as Rage Against The Machine, Anastacia, Incubus and Macy Gray. From 1993-97, Celler was an artist manager with Q Prime.
