Napster has announced integrated support for several new portable music devices. Creative's NOMAD Zen line, the Dell Digital Jukebox and Rio's Cali and Nitrus are all now directly compatible with Napster's music management software.

Napster users can drag-and-drop tracks purchased through the service directly to their portable device without leaving the Napster application.

More than a dozen portable devices now work directly with Napster software, including the co-branded Samsung Napster player. Napster music is compatible with 60 devices -- but not the Apple iPod.

In other Napster news, the service is offering subscribers the ability to purchase tracks in bulk at discounted rates. Members can buy tracks in "packs" of 15 (for $13.95), 25 ($21.95) or 50 ($39.95).
