London-based Trust The DJ has gone into administration, says Lynn Cosgrave, who founded the company four years ago with Matthew Bannister. Cosgrave's other businesses, Cosmack Management and Cosmack Bookings -- which oversee the careers of numerous international DJs, including Carl Cox, John Digweed, Goldie and Jeremy Healy -- are also in trouble.

Tony Supperstone and Malcolm Cohen of BDO Stoy Hayward LLP have been appointed joint administrators. It is their task to take over the operations, close them down and hopefully sell to a third party, Cosgrave says. "The complicated task of unraveling share holdings may not be a quick and easy task," she notes. In the meantime, Cosgrave says she and Ian Hindmarsh will continue to manage the artists on Cosmack's roster.

Trust the DJ encompasses marketing services, a label and radio and Internet divisions.
