Roberto Galante, manager of Eros Ramazzotti, has started an independent label in Milan. Panorama Records, which has no official link with Ramazzotti, shares an address with his recording studio, and his brother Marco Ramazzotti is a member of the label's staff. Galante serves as Panorama president.

Also working at the label is Maurizio Salvadori, a promoter with Clear Channel Italy, and Marco Sorrentini, former GM of Mercury in Italy.

Panorama describes itself as a "full-service operation," offering artists assistance with promotion and bookings. It will be distributed by Deltadischi.

The first signing (under license from the Cose di Musica label) is Omar Pedrini, a former member of pop group Timoria, who will be appearing at this year's Sanremo Festival in March with the song "Lavoro Inutile" (Pointless Work).
