The third annual Arion Greek Music Awards will be held on March 30 at the Nikea Weightlifting Centre in Athens. Organized again by commercial TV network Mega in collaboration with the local IFPI affiliate, the Arions will this year include five new awards, including best live album and best lyricist.

Nominations, reflecting mostly domestic repertoire -- which accounts for over 50% of the country's music sales -- are expected in mid-March. Two other new awards will honor international repertoire, based on the highest-selling album and single.

The finalists will be voted for by music-industry professionals, the media, radio producers and previous winners.

The show will be aired live in Greece via Mega and via satellite to Australia and the U.S. It will also air live on radio, although the selected radio broadcaster has yet to be announced.
