Marco Borsato has become the first Dutch recording artist to release an album on DVD only.

The Universal Music Holland title, "Zien" (To See), features 13 new tracks accompanied by short films made for the DVD by Dutch movie, TV and video directors. It will be released March 18; the day before, the DVD will be screened at Amsterdam's upmarket cinema the Tuschinsky Theatre.

Universal Holland will promote the release jointly with local mobile-phone service provider BelCompany and the country's leading commercial radio network, Sky Radio.

First single "Afscheid Nemen Bestaat Niet" (There Is No Such Thing As Saying Goodbye) is Borsato's sixth No. 1 hit. Released Dec. 4, the single spent three weeks atop the Dutch chart (and six weeks at No. 2), and a DVD version of the single went gold.

Borsato is the Netherlands' best-selling recording and performing artist. In 2002, he became the first Dutch artist to fill the 50,000-seat stadium De Kuip in Rotterdam on three consecutive dates. His concerts planned for this June at De Kuip have already sold out five dates, with a sixth filling up rapidly.
