Alma Signs Distrib Deal With Uni Canada

Toronto-based jazz and roots indie Alma Records has forged a domestic distribution deal with Universal Music Canada. Alma is owned and operated by bassist/producer/composer Peter Cardinali.

The first albums to be released under the agreement, due March 16, are singer/pianist Michael Kaeshammer's "Strut" and jazz unit One Take's "Volume One."

Alma's roster also include the Boomers, Aidan Mason, Vito Rezza & Five After Four and the Outfit.
