Following the breakthrough of his Tears For Fears cover "Mad World," Gary Jules has laid out an eight-date U.S. theater/club tour to begin March 11.

The tour will open at Harlow's Night Club in Sacramento, Calif., and will wrap March 30 at the Mercury Lounge in New York. "Mad World," which Jules recorded with composer Michael Andrews, was featured on the 2002 soundtrack to "Donnie Darko" (Everloving Records). The single rose to the top of the U.K. singles chart in December of last year.

Stateside, the cut was the most-added track at triple-A radio last week. The tour will also support his upcoming album "Trading Snakeoil for Wolftickets," to be released in the U.S. March 23 on Universal Records.
