Music-video network Fuse has appointed Robert Weiss to the newly created position of head of programming. He was previously head of East Coast development at VH1.

Music-video network Fuse has appointed Robert Weiss to the newly created position of head of programming. He was previously head of East Coast development at VH1.

Weiss will oversee all development and production of original programming, as well as day-to-day on-air promotions, program scheduling, acquisitions and talent. He will also be responsible for the network's digital content, including online and new media programming.

Based in New York, he reports to Fuse president Marc Juris.
