Ottawa native Alanis Morissette will host the 2004 Juno Awards, set for April 4 in Edmonton, Alberta.

As previously reported, Barenaked Ladies, Michael Bublé, Nelly Furtado, Avril Lavigne, Sarah McLachlan and Nickelback will perform on the Juno show. McLachlan and Furtado lead the nominations list with five apiece.

A 12-time Juno Award winner, Morissette is set to release her new Maverick album, "So Called Chaos" worldwide on May 18.
