Canadian rap manager Elliott Reid-Thomas was shot in the head and instantly killed by an unidentified gunman Sunday (Feb. 22) in front of 100 patrons at a Toronto after-hours club.

Reid-Thomas managed the Juno Award-winning duo Ghetto Concept, consisting of rappers Kwajo and Dolo. The group released its self-titled debut in 1998 on the 7 Bill$ Entertainment label, and most recently contributed the track "Rest in Peace" to the 7 Bill$ compilation "All Stars Da Album."

Ghetto Concept had been recording a new album and video in Los Angeles but returned to Toronto when they heard of Reid-Thomas' shooting.
