Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre in Englewood, Colo., has signed a naming-rights deal with Coors Brewing Co. The venue, in a suburb of Denver, will begin operating as Coors Amphitheatre this spring.

The multiyear deal is part of an ongoing relationship between House of Blues (HOB) Concerts, which owns and operates the shed, and Golden, Colo.-based Coors Brewing Co. HOB also runs the Coors Amphitheatre in Chula Vista, Calif., near San Diego.

The former Fiddler's Green, which opened in 1988, sits on property owned by the Museum of Outdoor Arts. The shed has 6,823 reserved seats and a 10,000-capacity lawn.

"We're excited to expand our relationship with Coors, and it's great to be involved with a local company that's a Fortune 500 company," says Jim McCue, senior VP of talent for HOB in Denver.

Among the shows on the books for the venue are Blink 182/Cypress Hill on May 1 and Ozzfest on July 24.
