Tommy Boy Records has licensed Armand Van Helden's new compilation "New York: A Mix Odyssey" from Norman "Fatboy Slim" Cook's London-based label Southern Fried Records. Under the terms of the agreement, Tommy Boy has the set for the United States and Mexico.

Scheduled for a worldwide release in May, the eclectic beat-mixed collection includes songs by Blondie, Felix Da Housecat, Yazoo and Ram Jam. Also spotlighted are new songs from Van Helden ("Hear My Name," "My My My") and AB/DC ("This Feeling"), a collaboration between Arthur Baker and Dave Clarke.

Tommy Boy is scheduled to release "Hear My Name" as a commercial single May 18.
