Warner Music Finland has let go five of its 30-member staff as part of the major's ongoing worldwide restructuring.

Among those let go is Jari Tiessalo, production manager of Warner Classics label Finlandia Records, in a move which puts into doubt the future of the imprint. The remaining four have yet to be identified.

The Helsinki-based Finnish office was unable to comment on the changes.

According to the IFPI, Warner Music was the Finnish market leader in 2003 with a 21% share in value, and second-largest in unit volume with a 19% share, behind EMI Finland.
