Sony Disc Manufacturing has unified worldwide manufacturing facilities outside Japan under the name Sony DADC.

Dieter Daum, based in Salzburg, Austria, will serve as president and will run the global software services company. Daum was formerly chairman of Sony DADC Austria.

The U.S. management team will consist of executive VPs Bob Hurley, Mike Mitchell and Stan Nimiroski. They will also serve as the Sony DADC Americas board of directors. In addition to Salzburg, Sony DACD has headquarters in New York.

Sony DADC operates 12 facilities in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Austria, India, Australia, Hong Kong and China. Services include physical and electronic content distribution, digital asset management, graphic arts, content security products, authoring and testing services and Super Audio CD replication.
