Albert Slendebroek, managing director of Warner Music Benelux, announced today (April 1) that he will leave the company in May.

Warner Benelux, based in Hilversum, the Netherlands, has been hit hard by the major's worldwide restructuring. Numerous staffers have been let go, and the domestic artist roster has been effectively dropped.

Slendebroek joined Warner Benelux in 1997.

The company's GM, Erik Vink, is also understood to be on the way out.

A spokesperson could not be reached for comment.
