Also during the month, Norah Jones' sophomore album "Feels Like Home" (Blue Note/Parlophone) achieved double-platinum status, in recognition of European shipments in excess of 2 million units.

A further six albums reached platinum Europe certification during the month: Alicia Keys' "The Diary of Alicia Keys" (J), Calogero's "2" (Mercury), George Michael's "Patience" (Aegean/Sony Music), Subababes' "Three" (Universal Island), Will Young's "Friday's Child" (S/BMG) and the "Love Actually" (Universal) soundtrack.
