In a first, the Gospel Music Assn.'s (GMA) 35th annual Dove Music Awards will be simulcast live at cinemas across the United States.

Yolanda Adams and CBS sportscaster Deion Sanders will host the show, set for April 28 at Nashville's Municipal Auditorium.

Regal Entertainment Group is presenting the "one night only" big-screen simulcast. The Doves will be shown live at Regal Cinemas, United Artists Theatres and Edwards Theatres in 50 cities. It is the first time a live awards show has had a cinematic simulcast. Tickets cost $10 at RegalCM.com. ForeFront artist Rebecca St. James will host the simulcast from Nashville, giving a glimpse of backstage activities.

In another first, the show will be broadcast on UPN on May 28; previous Dove Awards were carried by the PAX network.

Doves are presented in 44 categories and are voted on by the 4,500 members of the GMA.
