Two months removed from her infamous breast-baring incident at the Super Bowl halftime show, Janet Jackson made another big splash on network television over the weekend, earning NBC's "Saturday Night Live" its biggest ratings in more than a year.

Jackson was the "SNL" host and musical guest on Saturday (April 10), a week and a half after the release of her Virgin album "Damita Jo." According to NBC, the show drew a 7.3 rating and 17 share in preliminary meter-market averages, meaning that 7.3% of homes in markets where Nielsen has meters tuned in.

The ratings are the weekly show's highest since Dec. 14, 2002, when Al Gore hosted and Phish was the musical guest.
