Randy Lippe has been promoted to president of Olympia Entertainment in Detroit. Lippe will oversee all operations for Olympia Entertainment events and venues, including the Fox Theatre, Joe Louis Arena, Cobo Arena, Hockeytown Cafe, Johnny Rockets and non-baseball events at Comerica Park.

Lippe reports to Christopher Ilitch, president of Olympia's parent company Ilitch Holdings, Inc.

Lippe most recently served as senior VP/general manager of Joe Louis Arena and Cobo Arena. He also oversaw the operations at the Fox Theatre, including marketing and event booking, as well as Johnny Rockets and Hockeytown Cafe.

Olympia is also a promoter and producer of major live events, including concerts and Broadway shows.

Affiliated Ilitch Holdings, Inc. companies include the Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Tigers, Little Caesar Enterprises, Blue Line Distributing, Champion Foods, Little Caesars Pizza Kit Fundraising Program, Olympia Development and Uptown Entertainment. The organization reported $900 million in total combined revenue for 2003.
