Veteran rock act the Cure's 13th studio album will be the first release issued via Geffen Records' new pact with Ross Robinson's I Am imprint. The as-yet-untitled set is pegged for a June 22 release.

The Cure signed to I Am last year after parting ways with longtime label Fiction/Elektra. At the time, I Am was associated with ARTISTdirect Records.

The Cure will headline the second night of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, Calif. in early May. A North American tour is expected to run from late July to September.

The Cure's upcoming album will be its first since 2000's "Bloodflowers," which debuted at No. 16 on The Billboard 200 and has sold more than 290,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Looming on the horizon are expanded reissues of the Cure albums "Three Imaginary Boys," "Seventeen Seconds," "Faith" and "Pornography," tentatively due Aug. 17 via Warner Strategic Marketing.
