One day after launching a new B2B Web site, Sony Music Licensing has made a key executive appointment, naming Keith D'Arcy to the new post of senior director of music licensing and integrated marketing.
D'Arcy is based in new York and reports to Sony Music Licensing senior VP Paula Erickson. He will be responsible for securing new licensing deals in the advertising world, drawing upon his experience as an advertising liason for EMI Music Publishing and a previous stint as a music producer for ad agency Bates Worldwide.
D'Arcy joins from EMI Music Publishing, where he has been director of EMI Music Resources since 1999.
