The first "Nashville Star" tour, featuring winner Brad Cotter and the three finalists from the popular USA Network television show, begins June 18 at the Fraze Pavillion in Kettering, Ohio. The tour is booked by Rob Beckham at the William Morris Agency, and produced by event production firm 262 Five Ltd., owned by Brinson Strickland and Kyle Gustie.

Cotter, named the winner of "Nashville Star" on May 1, and finalists Matt Lindahl, Lance Miller and George Canyon will be backed by the Nashville Star Band. The tour plays theaters, large clubs, sheds and fairs.

The concept has certainly worked well for "American Idol." The two "Idol" tours, booked by Jeff Frasco at Creative Artists Agency, have grossed nearly $25 million and drawn 669,531 to arenas. The next "Idol" outing, produced by AEG Live, begins July 14 at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, and includes about 50 markets up until Sept. 26 at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif.
