Ecast Inc. -- a San Francisco-based distributor of broadband-connected jukeboxes for bars, restaurants and other businesses -- has inked a deal with fast-food chain Fatburger.

Under the agreement, Santa Monica, Calif.-based Fatburger will deploy Ecast's pay-for-play jukeboxes in its 50-plus restaurants across the country. Fatburger franchisees will participate in the revenue produced by the jukeboxes through a percentage negotiated between Fatburger North America Inc. and Ecast.

Fatburger has already installed Ecast-powered jukeboxes at its California and Florida locations. The company is in the process of rolling out the devices at all of its outlets.

Ecast jukeboxes are installed in more than 2,100 taverns and restaurants nationwide.
