Singer/songwriter Sam Roberts leads this year's crop of nominees for the MuchMusic Video Awards. The 15th annual gala will be held June 20 in Toronto.

Roberts' videos earned eight nominations overall -- seven for the "Hard Road" clip, including best video, best director, best pop video and the MuchMoreMusic Award. Both "Hard Road" and "Where Have All the Good People Gone" will contend in the best post-production category.

Roberts is followed by Billy Talent with six nods and Pilate with five. Finger Eleven and Nelly Furtado each received four nominations. All five artists are up for the coveted best video trophy.

Slated to appear at the awards are the Beastie Boys, Hilary Duff, Billy Talent, Fefe Dobson, Evanescence, Finger Eleven, Hoobastank, Kanye West and Three Days Grace.
