Duets by Earth Wind & Fire and Roots Manuva, Sting and Mariza, and Moby and Public Enemy will be featured on the official Athens 2004 Olympics pop album, details of which were announced this week. EMI Music will release the "Unity" album, the pop component of a three-release Olympics set, on July 12.

The official classical album for the Athens Olympics will take the name "Harmony"; "Phos" is the official Greek album for the Games.

"Unity" will comprise 15 songs, with a "message of participation, friendship and peace," says Athens Olympic Games 2004 president Gianna Angelopoulos-Daskalaki in a statement.

In association with the release, EMI has pledged to donate at least $180,000 to UNICEF's HIV/AIDS programs in sub-Saharan Africa.

Details on the three album releases will be revealed in the near future.
