Berklee College of Music will stage an interactive exhibit at the upcoming Macworld Conference & Expo. Dubbed "Dream Studios," the exhibit will simulate music studios based around the Apple Macintosh computer.

The exhibit will include the Dream Mobile Studio, for use on the road; the Dream Entry-Level Studio, for use at home; and the Dream Project Studio, for professional users.

Berklee faculty and students are designing and developing Dream Studios, which will showcase the latest hardware and software for digital audio workstation-based audio production. Macworld attendees will be able to take self-guided tours of the Dream Studios, participate in demonstrations and listen to presentations by Berklee faculty.

David Mash, Berklee VP for Information Technology, will also chair a two-day conference at Macworld, "The Macintosh Home Recording Studio for Musicians." Participants will learn how to build a studio, as well as how to record, mix, master and market their material.

Macworld Conference & Expo, produced by IDG World Expo, will be held July 12-14 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center.
