Simply Red frontman Mick Hucknall will deliver the keynote speech at U.K. independent labels association AIM's 5th annual general meeting, to be held June 22 at the University of Westminster School of Law in London.

During the meeting, three of the trade body's founder board members will retire by rotation. Those executives are AIM vice chairman and Ninja Tune managing director Peter Quicke; Songlines managing director Doug D'Arcy; and Telstar Plc chairman Sean O'Brien.

Four executives will be voted onto the board, the names of which will be announced at the end of the meeting. The candidates will be announced a week prior to the session. A new vice chairman will be elected at AIM's board meeting in September.

Other formal business will be followed by the annual report, which will be presented by AIM chairman/CEO Alison Wenham.
