After more than 15 years on Warner Bros. Records, k.d. lang has switched to Nonesuch Records. Her first release for Nonesuch will be "Hymns of the 49th Parallel," out July 27. On the album, lang covers songs by fellow Canadians, including tunes from Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen, Neil Young and Jane Siberry.

Boutique label Nonesuch, which will also release Brian Wilson's "Smile" in September, had been aligned with Atlantic Records. It switched to Warner Bros. in April as part of the restructuring of Warner Music Group under new heads Edgar Bronfman and Lyor Cohen.
