EMI Jazz & Classics in New York has made several key appointments, including naming David D'Urbano VP/CFO and Michele Singer as senior VP of legal and business affairs.

EMI Jazz & Classics in New York has made several key appointments.

David D'Urbano has been named VP/CFO. A nine-year EMI vet, he was most recently senior director of financial planning and analysis for Virgin Records. In his new post, he will oversee all financial aspects of the Jazz & Classics labels: Angel, Blue Note, EMI Classics and Manhattan Records.

D'Urbano reports to Jazz & Classics president/CEO Bruce Lundvall and, on a functional basis, to Colin Finkelstein, CFO of EMI Music North America.

Additionally, Michele Singer has been named senior VP of legal and business affairs for Jazz & Classics. She was VP of legal and business affairs for EMI Music North America. Singer reports to Lundvall and, on a functional basis, to Susan Feingold, senior VP of legal and business affairs for EMI Music North America.

Zach Hochkeppel has been promoted from director to VP of marketing for Blue Note, Angel and Manhattan. He reports to Jazz & Classics senior VP/GM Tom Evered and Manhattan Records senior VP Ian Ralfini.

Finally, J.R. Rich has been promoted from VP of publicity for Blue Note to VP of publicity for Jazz & Classics. She also reports to Evered and Ralfini.
