A number of top acts are on tap to perform at this year's NARM convention, set for Aug. 21-24 at the San Diego Marriott.

Playing the "Welcome Back" reception the first night will be Sahra Indo (Olumeye Records) and Pavlo (Justin Time). That will be followed by WEA night at Club NARM, featuring Jason Mraz (Atlantic), Shinedown (Atlantic), John Davis (Word) and Bonnie McKee (Reprise).

At the business session on Aug. 22, Decca's Hayley Westenra will perform. That evening, Rachael Sage (MPress) will play "Happy Hour Unplugged." This will be followed by the NARM Scholarship Foundation Dinner, featuring J-Me (Ripe/E-Nate) and They Might Be Giants (Walt Disney Records), along with NARM "Class Acts" winners the Karg Boys. Later that night, Club NARM will present Juz Cuz (PPL), John Brannen (Sly Dog), Brazilian Girls (Verve) and the Chick Corea Elektric Band (Concord).

Aug. 23 will see a Happy Hour Unplugged performance by LP (Light Switch), followed by indie night at Club NARM, with Beth Hart (Koch), Bob Schneider (Shockorama/Vanguard), Camper Van Beethoven (Pitch-A-Tent/Vanguard) and Malibu Storm (Rounder).

The last day of the confab will include NARM's first Latin Music showcase, with performances by Sony Discos acts Kevin Johansen, Ha-Ash and Kalimba, plus VI Music/Universal artist Don Omar.

Catherine Marie Charlton (River Dawn) will perform at happy hour. That night's awards dinner, to be hosted by Leeza Gibbons, will feature Ben Harper & the Blind Boys of Alabama (Virgin) and Gretchen Wilson (Epic Records Nashville). The confab will wrap with a set by DJ Drew (Ultra Records) at Club NARM.
