Finish rock act the Rasmus has signed a long-term publishing deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing in Berlin. The pact covers the world excluding Finland.

Included in the agreement is the band's breakthrough 5th album "Dead Letters," which was a Top 10 hit on European Top 100 Albums last year. Its single "In the Shadows" also reached the Top 10 on the corresponding Eurochart Hot 100 Singles.

In Europe alone, the group has shifted more than 2 million records, according to Malmo, Sweden-based Playground Music, to which the band is signed. The act is licensed worldwide to Universal Music International outside Scandinavia and selected other territories.
