Collin Raye has signed with start-up indie label Infinity Records Nashville.

Raye recorded from 1991 until 2002 for Epic Records, where his output included five platinum albums and 21 top-10 hits, including four No. 1s.

Raye is the flagship artist for Infinity (not associated with the radio group of the same name), which is being headed by industry veteran George Collier. Infinity, which is distributed by Navarre, is a division of St. Augustine, Fla.-based Infinity Music Corp.

Raye’s first single for the label is due in October, with an album to follow in January 2005.

Infinity Music Corp.'s other divisions include Retrophonics West Recording Studio, broadcast services company Media Works Communications, concert production and artist management company Lou-Do Music and Christian music label Jesahah Records.

In related news, the company has signed a distribution deal to distribute T.G. Sheppard's Destiny Row Records release "Timeless."
