Anchor Bay Entertainment has added two sales positions. Ray Gagnon has been named senior VP of sales, and Mary Thompson will be director of sales, national accounts.

Anchor Bay Entertainment has added two sales positions. Ray Gagnon has been named senior VP of sales, and Mary Thompson will be director of sales, national accounts.

Anchor Bay has also promoted Erin McGregor from VP to senior VP of operations and Sally Seraphim to VP of sales.

Troy, Mich.-based Gagnon will oversee Anchor Bay's field sales team and will manage all key accounts. Gagnon formerly worked at DreamWorks, where he helped launch "Shrek" on video. He has also held positions at Buena Vista Home Entertainment -- where he helped to pioneer a direct-sales video program to national chains including Kmart, Target and Wal-Mart -- and has worked at Sony Music and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.

Thompson, who is based in St. Louis, will be in charge of national and specialty accounts. She is a founder of the replicating company Blue Sky Media Services and previously worked at Fox as executive director of sales for national accounts.

Troy-based McGregor will handle all duplication and fulfillment and will be responsible for managing inventory. She joined the company in 1992.

Gagnon, Thompson and McGregor all report to Anchor Bay CEO Ted Green.

Seraphim will be in charge of national accounts including Best Buy and Wal-Mart. She joined the company in 1997 after holding positions at Turner Home Entertainment, Baker & Taylor and Pickwick Records. Based in Troy, she reports to Gagnon.
