As has been speculated for weeks, David Zedeck will shutter his New York-based Evolution Talent Agency, which he founded, and join the New York office of Creative Artists Agency (CAA), effective Sept. 1.

Evolution books dozens of high-profile acts for live appearances, including Britney Spears, Anastasia, Backstreet Boys, Boyz II Men, Nick Cannon, 'N Sync, P.Diddy, Ja Rule, Hilary Duff, Nick Carter, JC Chasez, Justin Timberlake, Aaron Carter and the Donnas.

It is believed that most of these artists will make the move with Zedeck to CAA. Agent Nat Farnham is also expected to go with Zedeck.

The agents will work alongside CAA's Joe Brauner and Mario Tirado, who left Monterey Peninsula Artists and opened CAA's New York office earlier this year.

Zedeck's move comes only weeks after his former partner, Jonny Podell, sold his 50% interest in Evolution to Zedeck, forming the Podell Talent Agency.

Podell said at the time that he decided to split with Zedeck because "our plans for the future were not the same. There were more differences than similarities."
