Framptone, an instrument equipment company co-founded by Peter Frampton, has found a distribution partner in Keeley Electronics, which manufactures and markets "stomp box" effects pedals and cables for electric guitars. The Framptone/Keeley alliance will start distributing Framptone's guitar expansion products Friday (Aug. 6).

Framptone, established in 2000, has products that include the Amp Switcher and the 3-Banger, both of which allow guitarists to switch between or combine multiple amplifiers; and the Framptone, which emulates the "talk box" effect artists such as Frampton and Joe Walsh popularized in the 1970s.

Framptone claims a customer base including Dave Grohl, Richie Sambora, Art Alexakis and Prince.

Keeley Electronics was founded in 2001. The company's products include the Kustom Kolors, Keeley Compressor and Java Boost effects pedals.
