Unit folded into Interscope under Berry.

The sales department at Geffen Records has been trimmed and folded into Interscope's sales division, sources confirm.

Interscope head of sales Candace Berry will lead the merged department.

Among those cut as a result of the move are VP of sales Jayne Simon, senior director of sales Kevin Day, national director of urban marketing Eddie Barreto, Midwest regional director Steve Roth and Detroit-based director of lifestyle marketing Tim Dralle.

National director of lifestyle marketing Amy Allen will remain with the company, reporting to Interscope head of marketing Paul Kremen.
