Olympic athletes choose free play lists.
RealNetworks is partnering with the 2004 Athens Olympics -- airing on NBC -- to offer two weeks of free access to its Rhapsody online jukebox. The service will include exclusive access to play lists chosen by more than 250 U.S. athletes.
Between Aug. 11 and Aug. 29, the free Rhapsody service will be available to U.S.-based fans through the official NBC Olympics and Rhapsody websites.
The subscription service will offer a stream of "Oceania" -- a song written by Icelandic pop artist Bjork for the games' Opening Ceremony -- exclusively until her new Elektra set, "Medulla," hits stores Aug. 31. The song will also be available for download at the RealPlayer 10 music store.
