CFO David Robinson to head music group.
Spring Hill Music Group president Scott Chancey resigned yesterday (Aug. 17). Chancey was named president of the Nashville-based group in 1997 after joining the previous year as VP of sales for the Spring Hill Records division.
With no immediate plans to hire a new president, CFO David Robinson has added the title of COO in the wake of Chancey's departure.
The label group includes the Spring Hill label and Green Hill Productions. A Sept. 28 release of debut Christian pop/rock artist Charity Von's self-titled set will launch the group's Slanted Records imprint.
Spring Hill's Southern gospel/inspirational roster includes the Oak Ridge Boys, the Martins, Jeff & Sheri Easter, CrossWay, Scott Krippayne, Babbie Mason and Wayne Watson.
