Gaylord Entertainment president/CEO Colin Reed has extended his contract through May 2008 and will add the title of chairman in May 2005.

Gaylord Entertainment president/CEO Colin Reed has extended his contract through May 2008 and will add the title of chairman in May 2005.

He will succeed current chairman Michael Rose, who will remain a member of the board of directors and serve as chairman of the board's executive committee. Rose received an extension through May 2009.

Nashville-based Gaylord owns WSM-AM, the Grand Ole Opry, the Ryman Auditorium and a number of resorts and hotels.
