Warner/Chappell Music has upped Gustavo Menendez to regional GM for Latin America, replacing Miguel Aranega, who recently left the company.

The Miami-based Menendez has been the company's VP of A&R for four years. In his new post, he will head up the company's Latin music operations in the Americas. He reports to Warner/Chappell chairman/CEO Les Bider.

A 15-year industry veteran, Menendez formed the indie label Radio Vox in 1995, developing such artists as Bacilos and Circo. In 1999 he joined Warner Music Latina as A&R consultant, then moved to Warner/Chappell the following year.
