Madonna is to feature in a major promotional campaign for Polish national commercial station Radio Zet. According to the station, which is owned by a consortium helmed by the French Lagardere Group, the campaign will be the biggest-ever in Central Europe to focus on one artist.

The campaign will launch Monday (Sept. 13) on Radio Zet, across national TV, in leading glossy magazines, and on billboards.

The TV advertisement is expected to use one of Madonna's hits as its soundbed and will feature the artist alongside leading Polish actor Zbigniew Zamachowski.

"The moment the news of this campaign broke in Poland, we were swamped by reactions from Polish and international media and of course from ordinary Poles," comments Radio Zet president/program director Robert Kozyra.

Together with Warner Music Poland, Radio Zet says it will create several spin-offs to the campaign, geared towards maximum exposure for Madonna, her repertoire and the station.
