Stephan Bourdoiseau was elected president of French indie labels' association UPFI during the organization's annual general meeting on June 24 in Paris. He will serve a two-year term.

Stephan Bourdoiseau was elected president of French indie labels' association UPFI during the organization's annual general meeting on June 24 in Paris. He will serve a two-year term.

Bourdoiseau, 35, is president of leading indie distributor Wagram Music. He serves as a board member for UPFI and for European indies' body Impala.

Bourdoiseau replaces Patrick Zelnik, president and co-founder of Naïve, who served for two consecutive terms.
